An upgraded Emergency entrance and waiting area to Parkridge East Hospital helped the facility achieve its design goals to elevate the visitor’s first impression. The existing Emergency Department lobby and admitting areas were updated to improve check-in flow and give visitors a grand entrance to the hospital. The reception area was opened and expanded to provide ample space for personal interaction with staff and upgraded technology helps guide guests to their final destination. New finishes in public restrooms and corridors tied the design in seamlessly with the rest of the Emergency Department. Various seating promotes visitor choice and dynamic materials in calm, soothing colors ensure visitors feel welcomed to a modern healthcare experience.
