Creating a fresh look for the ED entrance is the first phase completed as part of the overall Emergency Department and Lab Renovations and Expansions. As part of the Lobby renovation, the efficient design allowed for a larger entrance and dedicated children’s area.  A curved wall motif provided the opportunity to feature a new reception area, with a security desk and wheelchair storage integrated to open up the entrance walkway for visitors.

The Emergency Department renovation will increase the exam room count and as such, the lobby received a second triage room for increased capacity and speed of flow.
