TMP Welcomes Two New Architects

Sonja Wilson, AIA, NCARB, is a Tennessee native from Memphis and earned her Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Tennessee.  After college, she made the big move to Des Moines, Iowa and work on many historic rehabilitation projects in the downtown district. After three years and gaining her license in architecture,  she missed her Southern roots and decided to return to her home state of Tennessee. She brings a wide range of project type experience including historic rehabilitation, multifamily, education, residential, commercial and government. Sonja is actively working on the BNA Vision project, and joins us as a Senior Project Architect.

Sonja enjoys all things outdoors including backpacking in the Smokey Mountains. Also, she enjoys traveling abroad. By the time she was 26, she had been to 26 countries. Sonja is currently planning her next adventure to Portugal and Spain.

Sims Polk, AIA, NCARB has been designing for healthcare for over 22 years.  She is managing healthcare master planning projects on our planning team, leveraging her expertise leading a healthcare studio and mentoring designers.  She previously worked on the Vanderbilt Pediatric Clinic and Ambulatory Surgery Center in Murfreesboro, set to open this fall.  Native of Tupelo, Mississippi, Sims attended the University of Mississippi, then received her Masters in Architecture from the University of Virginia.  Sims joins us as a Project Manager and an Associate.

You can find Sims and her family out on the lake all summer. Her husband Chad, boys Bentley (14) and Knox (10) and French Bulldog Yoda all love being out on the boat.

We are thrilled to have both of these fierce ladies on our team.
