The Challenge
Working within aggressive budget restraints, TMP was challenged with retrofitting an abandoned car dealership into a modern, efficient police station for the Nashville Metro Police Department’s West Precinct.

The Design Solution
TMP designed the facility with extensive security considerations, updated information technology, and modern equipment infrastructure. A new façade and welcoming outdoor space create an inviting look that blends into the surrounding neighborhood, and the building now has a 2,000-square-foot community room.
Sustainability was a priority for the client and the building is LEED® Gold Certified.
The Design Impact
TMP took the facility to the next level, establishing an inviting civic presence in place of an eyesore and uniting residents and businesses with a renewed pride in the neighborhood.
