To create a safe space for patients receiving mental health treatment in Maury County, TMP partnered with TriStar Health to design Pinewood Springs, a new behavioral health hospital in Columbia, Tennessee.

The Design Solution
The one-story facility includes 60 patient beds with rooms for a future expansion of 16 beds. TMP designed the space to optimize the flow of inpatients, outpatients, and visitors, while creating a calming space that encourages healing. The hospital includes activity areas, dining areas, outdoor courtyard space, and relaxing interior elements.
