Spring Hill Police Headquarters

The Challenge

The Design Solution
The two-story building includes a variety of spaces for Spring Hill officers to train, decompress, collaborate, and engage with their community.
It features training spaces for physical agility, defensive tactics, a firearms training simulator, and a training room/Emergency Operations center that’s designed to withstand 250-MPH winds.
Officers can rest in the lounge, break, and waiting areas spread throughout the building. The covered entry provides a welcoming feel for the public, and a 120-person community room can be used for neighborhood meetings and doubles as a courtroom for the City of Spring Hill.
The Design Impact
TMP helped the client achieve its goals of providing police officers a dedicated, collaborative space that accommodates current and future needs, simultaneously engaging the surrounding community.
